Bonita torta la que lleva hoy tras una reunión negativa con la Agencia Médica Europea sobre el anticuerpo sobre el que está trabajando para el cáncer colorrectal...

No sé si puede ser una opción de cierto rebote para los próximos días...

 

XBiotech Inc. ( XBIT) saw its shares fall sharply after the company issued an update on its recent meeting with the European Medical Agency (EMA). The Oral Explanation meeting dealt specifically with the firm’s marketing authorization application (MAA) for its candidate antibody for the treatment of colorectal cancer. Unfortunately, the meeting did not live up to the company's expectations.

A negative trend vote from this meeting would imply that it is unlikely that a positive Committee for Medicinal Products for Human Use (CHMP) opinion related to the XBiotech's MAA will be attained at the formal decision vote scheduled in May. Accordingly additional steps would need to be taken to potentially gain marketing approval.

Es una de las que tengo en mi WList porque me gusta su extenso pipeline, interesante el grafico bullish que llevaba en diario y en semanal, Cuando he entrado en valores con ese gap, le he hecho calculado un R.Fibonacci minimo del 23 % y hasta ahora la mayor parte de la veces esa estrategia  me ha dado buen resultado, pero primero sopeso el valor de la noticia ,,, que no sea un desatre total y absoluto, y aun asi hasta en GALE se produjo ese rebote. o retroceso ,

El jueves el RSI estaba en 70. 

MACD a punto de hacer un Golden Cross pero hizo un Dead Cross a finales de Marzo cuando el precio llegó a tocar 20 y el RSI 90, 

MM en  diario  tanto la 20/50 como la 50/200 han hecho Golden Cross en Feb y finales de Abril, pero en grafico semanal  MM20/50  si habia avisado con un Dead Cross desde el 27 de Marzo que apoyaba en Slow Stocastico con un Dead Cross tambien

Recientemente ha hecho un offering asi que de finanzas no es que este muy mal , ademas ha publicado resultados positivos de dos otros trials, por lo que creo tiene en que apoyarse para hacer ese RFibo,... ahi dejo el calculo usando 17.04 como precio mas alto y de cierre el Jueves y 9.80 como precio mas bajo ayer

Cempra Presents Data at ECCMID Highlighting Need for New CABP Therapies and Activity of Solithromycin in Key Population Groups 

 ...  the company is presenting eight abstracts highlighting solithromycin and the need for new treatments for community-acquired bacterial pneumonia (CABP) at the 27th European Congress of Clinical Microbiology and Infectious Diseases (ECCMID) in Vienna, Austria.

Cempra's two lead product candidates are currently in advanced clinical development. Solithromycin has been evaluated in two phase 3 clinical trials for community-acquired bacterial pneumonia (CABP). Cempra is currently seeking approval for CABP for both intravenous and oral capsule formulations from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration. Solithromycin is licensed to strategic commercial partner Toyama Chemical Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of FUJIFILM Holdings Corporation, for certain exclusive rights in Japan.       Cempra is contracted with BARDA for the development of solithromycin for pediatric use and has commenced enrollment in a global Phase 2/3 trial to evaluate the safety and efficacy of solithromycin versus standard of care antibiotics in children and adolescents from two months to 17 years of age.    Solithromycin is also in development for uncomplicated urogenital urethritis caused by Neisseria gonorrhoeae or chlamydia.     Fusidic acid is Cempra's second product candidate, which has completed a phase 3 trial comparing fusidic acid to linezolid in patients with acute bacterial skin and skin structure infections (ABSSSI).   Cempra also has an ongoing exploratory study of fusidic acid for chronic oral treatment of refractory infections in bones and joints. Both products seek to address the need for new treatments targeting drug-resistant bacterial infections in the hospital and in the community.   Cempra is also studying solithromycin for ophthalmic conditions and has synthesized novel macrolides for non-antibiotic uses such as the treatment of chronic inflammatory diseases, endocrine diseases and gastric motility disorders. Cempra was founded in 2006 and is headquartered in Chapel Hill, N.C. For additional information about Cempra please visit  www.cempra.com.
